División de Información y Registro.- Son funciones de la División de Información y Registro, las siguientes:

1. Diseñar, mantener actualizado y controlar los sistemas de información para el desarrollo de la misión del Departamento;

2. Salvaguardar los archivos básicos, registros, equipos de cómputo y programas del Departamento.

3. Procesar y generar la información necesaria para apoyar la investigación de planes, programas y proyectos para la toma de decisiones;

4. Presentar los informes que le sean solicitados sobre el desarrollo de sus funciones;

5. Las demás funciones que le sean asignadas de acuerdo con la naturaleza de la dependencia.
