Corresponde al Contralor General de la República la dirección del levantamiento los censos de que trata la presente Ley. En consecuencia, el Contralor queda facultado para dictar los reglamentos necesarios para su ejecución, e imponer las sanciones que merezcan quienes no atiendan a sus órdenes.

Parágrafo

Las autoridades de la República tienen la obligación de ofrecer al Contralor General la cooperación que les solicite para los fines previstos en esta Ley, y también la de velar porque se cumplan estrictamente los reglamentos que dicte en desarrollo de la autorización que le confiere el presente articulo.
