La Nación, por intermedio del Ministerio de Educación, ordenará la colocación de un óleo del doctor Manuel Ancízar, en la biblioteca de la Universidad Nacional y de sendas placas conmemorativas en el Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi, en el Colegio Mayor del Rosario y en el Colegio Manuel Ancízar de Fontibón.
