Areas que comprende. Los Servicios Administrativos y Técnicos del Senado comprenden las Areas Legislativa y Administrativa.

La Organización Legislativa estará a cargo de la Mesa Directiva de la Corporación y del Secretario General del Senado; el orden administrativo estará a cargo de la Dirección General Administrativa del Senado, dependencia que se crea por medio de esta ley.
