Importaciones sometidas al régimen de libre importación . Las importaciones de mercancías serán del régimen de libre importación, salvo cuando a las mismas le sean aplicables las disposiciones contenidas en el Capítulo II del presente decreto, o cuando se trate de bienes cuya importación esté prohibida en virtud del artículo 81 de la Constitución Política de Colombia, la Ley 18 de 1990 y demás normas concordantes, así como por los Convenios y Tratados Internacionales en los que Colombia haya asumido compromisos sobre la materia.
