Efectos de la afiliación. La afiliación surtirá efectos a partir del primer día del mes siguiente a aquel en el cual se efectuó el diligenciamiento del respectivo formulario. Será responsable del pago de las pensiones o prestaciones económicas a que haya lugar, la administradora que haya recibido o le corresponda recibir el monto de las cotizaciones del período en el cual ocurre el siniestro o hecho que da lugar al pago de la pensión o prestación correspondiente.
