Los asilos para niños sanos hijos de leprosos, funcionaran en lugares cuya distancia impida el trato fácil con los enfermos. Estos establecimientos serán de cargo de la Nación hasta alcanzar los niños la edad de quince (15) años, proporcionándoles la instrucción conducente a que en adelante puedan subvenir por si mismos a sus necesidades.

Parágrafo

Los hijos sanos de leprosos a que se refiere este artículo, no podrán al salir de los asilos volver a residir en los lazaretos.
