Se concederán licencias especiales temporales para ejercer la profesión de geólogos a los extranjeros, cuando en determinadas circunstancias sea necesario o conveniente su concurso, sobre todo cuando se trate de especialidades que no existan en el país o que existan en grado limitado. Estas licencias tendrán una duración de dos años renovables y los interesados adquieren la obligación de entrenar personal colombiano en su respectiva especialidad.
