Autoevaluación académica institucional . La evaluación institucional anual que debe llevarse a cabo en cada una de las instituciones educativas según lo dispuesto en el artículo 84 de la Ley 115 de 1994 tiene por objeto mejorar la calidad de la educación que se imparte y por lo tanto, debe tomar en cuenta las metas de calidad académica propuestas cada año en el plan de estudios y formular recomendaciones precisas para alcanzar y superar dichas metas.
