Para efectos de dar aplicación al artículo 42 del Decreto-ley 2016 de 1968, la Academia Diplomática notificará por escrito a los Ministros Plenipotenciarios que hayan prestado tres (3) años de servicios en ese grado, la asignación del tema de la tesis que sobre política internacional deberán presentar para el ascenso al grado de Embajador.
