°. Son funciones del Director del Instituto Nacional de Salud además de las señaladas en el artículo 9° del Decreto 1423 de 1960, las siguientes

Dirigir y coordinar la ejecución de los programas que han de desarrollar las Subdivisiones que integran el Instituto.

Elaborar el programa general de trabajo del Instituto de coordinación con el jefe de la oficina de Planeamiento, Coordinación y Evaluación del Ministerio de Salud Pública, y presentarlo al comité Técnico.

Estudiar y resolver los problemas de las Subdivisiones.
