La suma destinada por esta Ley se invertirá en su totalidad en obras de carácter municipal como alcantarillado, pavimentación o plaza de mercado; pero es obligación del Municipio construír un Hospital Sanatorio, para enfermedades tropicales con un pabe1lón anexo de maternidad. Para 1a construcción de este Sanatorio el Municipio procederá en conformidad con la Dirección Nacional de Higiene.
