Artículo octavo . El Director Ejecutivo del Instituto será nombrado y removido libremente por el Gobierno, v será funcionario de tiempo completo. Para el desempeño de este cargo se requiere ser colombiano de nacimiento, tener un título universitario y conocimientos comprobados en física, química o ingeniería nucleares.
