amends decreto 663/93

Modifícase el numeral 1 del artículo 97 del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero, el cual quedará así:

"1. Información a los usuarios. Las entidades vigiladas deben suministrar a los usuarios de los servicios que prestan la información necesaria para lograr la mayor transparencia en las operaciones que realicen, de suerte que les permita, a través de elementos de juicio claros y objetivos, escoger las mejores opciones del mercado y poder tomar decisiones informadas.

En tal sentido, no está sujeta a reserva la información correspondiente a los activos y al patrimonio de las entidades vigiladas, sin perjuicio del deber de sigilo que estas tienen sobre la información recibida de sus clientes y usuarios."
