ARTICULO 1.5.2.0.1 . AUTORIZACIÓN. Las entidades vigiladas sólo podrán abrir o cerrar sucursales o agencias, en el territorio nacional, previa autorización de la Superintendencia Bancaria. La Superintendencia Bancaria podrá impartir la mencionada autorización de manera general o individual, para lo cual deberá cerciorarse de que la conveniencia pública se verá fomentada. Tratándose de inversiones de capital en sucursales o agencias domiciliadas en el exterior, éstas sólo podrán efectuarse previa aprobación de la Superintendencia Bancaria, con sujeción a las regulaciones que dicten las autoridades competentes.
