Las faltas del Procurador General de la Nación se llenan por un interino, designado por el Gobierno; las de los Fiscales, por el respectivo primero o segundo suplentes, nombrados de las ternas presentadas por las Asambleas Departamentales respectivas, y en su defecto por interinos nombrados por el Gobernador del Departamento correspondiente, y las de los Personeros Municipales, por los Concejos.
