Ley 59 de 1873 · Que crea un Juzgado i una Ajencia fiscal en el Territorio nacional de Casanare

Art. 1.° Créase en el Territorio de Casanare un Juez, que se denominará "Juez del Territorio," con residencia en Támara, para que administre justicia en los mismos términos que hasta ahora lo ha hecho el Prefecto. Este Juez tendrá un Secretario, de su libre nombramiento i remocion, el cual ejercerá las funciones que las leyes vijentes en el Territorio asignaban al Secretario del Prefecto en los negocios judiciales en que intervenia.

Parágrafo

El Juez del Territorio será nombrado por la Corte Suprema federal, en sala de acuerdo i a pluralidad absoluta de votos, i durará es su destino dos años.
