De acuerdo con la reglamentación que expida el Contador General de la Nación, las entidades públicas informarán de los avances logrados en desarrollo del proceso de saneamiento de la información contable, teniendo en cuenta que el término máximo para realizar dicho proceso no podrá ser superior al señalado en la Ley 716 del 24 de diciembre de 2001.
