Los extranjeros que en virtud del artículo 45 del Decreto 1830 de 1985 hayan obtenido pasaporte colombiano tendrán la calidad de residentes durante la vigencia de su pasaporte para lo cual deberán obtener la respectiva cédula de extranjería, que será expedida por la División de Extranjería del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad.
