Incurre en falta a la debida diligencia profesional: 1o. El abogado que injustificadamente demore la iniciación o prosecución de las gestiones que le han sido encomendadas o deje de hacer oportunamente las diligencias propias de la actuación profesional, y 2o. El abogado que sin justa causa descuide o abandone el asunto de que se haya encargado. Quien cometa una de estas faltas será sancionado con censura, suspensión o exclusión.
