En caso de nacimiento a bordo de un buque que navegue en aguas que correspondan a la República, será obligación del que mande el buque dar aviso a la autoridad política del primer puerto a donde el buque llegue, a fin de que por dicha autoridad política se prevenga al notario o Secretario del concejo del lugar en que la misma autoridad resida para que proceda a extender el acta de nacimiento en el correspondiente registro.
