El artículo 31 del Decreto 321 de 1994 quedará así: "La persona que sea titular de un pasaporte oficial o diplomático y solicite la expedición de un pasaporte ordinario, deberá devolver el anterior a la autoridad expedidora para su anulación o depósito, según el caso. La persona que solicite la tramitación de un pasaporte diplomático oficial, teniendo derecho a éste, y sea titular de un pasaporte ordinario o de otra clase, deberá dejarlo en depósito en la respectiva oficina expedidora. El mismo le será restituido una vez reintegrado el anterior".
