Cédese tambien al distrito de Mahates, en el Estado soberano de Bolívar, la propiedad de los terrenos denominados "Santa Cruz," pertenecientes a la Nación, ubicados en jurisdiccion del mismo distrito. Esta concesion se hace bajo la condicion de que dichos terrenos sean aplicados al ensanche del área de poblacion i de los ejidos del mencionado distrito.
