El numeral 24 del artículo 14 de la Ley 142 de 1994 , quedará así:

"14.24 Servicio Público de Aseo. Es el servicio de recolección municipal de residuos, principalmente sólidos. También se aplicará esta ley a las actividades complementarias de transporte, tratamiento, aprovechamiento y disposición final de tales residuos.

Igualmente incluye, entre otras, las actividades complementarias de corte de césped y poda de árboles ubicados en las vías y áreas públicas, de lavado de estas áreas, transferencia, tratamiento y aprovechamiento.
