Si el valor del remate en el caso del artículo 923 excediere al monto del crédito, cualquiera de las otras partes puede pedir que se consigne el exceso y se coloque a interés, según lo dispuesto en el artículo 921. El Juez puede también disponer de oficio la consignación, y en todo caso el excedente debe pagarse con el interés corriente al tiempo del remate.
