Los Médicos rurales estarán obligados a prestar gratuitamente los servicios de Medicina Legal en las zonas urbanas de los Municipios a donde hayan sido destinados.

Parágrafo

Cuando los médicos rurales tengan que salir de la zona urbana a prestar sus servicios médico - legales, dentro de la circunscripción de su Municipio, tendrán derechos a los medios convenientes de transporte, a viáticos de $ 1.00 por kilómetro, y se les pagarán sus servicios de acuerdo con las tarifas que el Gobierno establezca en la reglamentación de la presente Ley.
