El Presidente de la República ejercerá por medio de la Superintendencia de Sociedades la inspección y vigilancia de las sociedades comerciales no sometidas al control de la Superintendencia Bancaria, con el fin de que en su formación y funcionamiento se ajusten a las leyes y decretos y de que se cumplan normalmente sus propios estatutos, según lo previsto en este Código o en leyes posteriores.
