ARTICULO 4 º. La Policía Cívica para efectos de dirección dependerá de la Subdirección de Participación Comunitaria de la Policía Nacional, a través de la División de Policía Cívica de Participación Ciudadana.

Parágrafo

Los Comandantes de Departamentos y Policías Metropolitanas, serán los responsables ante la Subdirección de Participación Comunitaria, de la dirección, funcionamiento y disciplina de la Policía Cívica en sus respectivas jurisdicciones.
