Pago previo de la prima . La entrega de la póliza al tomador está condicionada al pago previo de la prima, excepto cuando ésta se encuentre a cargo de entidades de derecho público. En consecuencia, las compañías de seguros no expedirán la póliza o el certificado respectivo con anterioridad al abono del monto de la prima correspondiente.
