Art. 77. Los Consejos municipales establecerán y dotarán los comisarios que, atendida la extensión del Distrito, sean necesarios para evitar el fraude de la renta. El cuerpo de policía de cada localidad prestará poderosa protección al Recaudador ó rematador de la renta. Quedan derogados las ordenanzas y decretos contrarios al presente.
