A partir del 1º de enero de 1989, la sobrerremuneración de los choferes mecánicos al servicio del Presidente, Vicepresidentes, Secretario General, Asistente Ejecutivo, Directores de Oficinas Asesoras, Gerente Regional de Bogotá, del Auditor Especial ante Telecom y el conductor de la Empresa que preste dicho servicio al Ministro de Comunicaciones, será el equivalente al 38%, de la Categoría Z, del Grupo 6, de la Escala EAO. Esta sobrerremuneración es incompatible con el pago de horas extras, dominicales y feriados.
