De conformidad con lo dispuesto en el artículo 1° de la Ley 7ª de 1944, el "Protocolo concerniente al arreglo de Madrid relativo al Registro Internacional de Marcas", adoptado en Madrid el 27 de junio de 1989, modificado el 3 de octubre de 2006 y el 12 de noviembre de 2007, que por el artículo primero de esta ley se aprueba, obligará al país a partir de la fecha en que se perfeccione el vínculo internacional respecto de la misma.
