Para la prestación del servicio de radioaficionado, se requiere obtener licencia del Ministerio de Comunicaciones, previo el cumplimiento de los requisitos señalados en este Decreto. La licencia se concederá por medio de resolución debidamente motivada y autorizará a su titular para acceder al servicio, al espectro y para operar la estación de radioaficionado. Concedida la licencia, se expedirá por la División de Medios de Comunicación del Ministerio de Comunicaciones, un carnet que acredite a su titular como radioaficionado.
