La vigilancia fiscal del Fondo Vial Nacional se ejercerá por la Contraloría General de la República, a través de la Auditoria del Ministerio de Obras Públicas. La Contraloría dictará un reglamento fiscal del Fondo, de acuerdo con la Naturaleza de las operaciones del mismo y con el propósito de darle la debída agilidad administrativa.
