El Instituto de Evaluación Tecnológica en Salud (IETS), entidad descentralizada indirecta o de segundo grado del orden nacional, estará adscrito al Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social y, los gastos de funcionamiento e inversión del IETS serán cubiertos por el citado Ministerio, para lo cual deberá destinar y transferir los recursos necesarios de su presupuesto.
