Art. 37. El Jurado electoral nombrará para cada una de las mesas de votación que haya en la cabecera del Distrito municipal un Jurado de votación encargado de recibir los votos y hacer los escrutinios de ellos.

Cada Jurado se compondrá de cinco miembros que sepan leer y escribir.

La elección deberá hacerse ocho días antes de las votaciones y recaer en individuos de la respectiva localidad.

Se nombrarán, además tantos suplentes como principales.
