Art. 62. El arrendatario no tendrá derecho á indemnización alguna cuando por causas independientes de la voluntad del Gobierno dejare de subsistir el impuesto, ó no pudieren hacerse efectivos los derechos rematados. Tampoco podrá exigir indemnización del Tesoro por la pérdida ó quebrantos que tenga á virtud de incidentes ó casos fortuitos que reduzcan las entradas de la renta. Los daños que sufra por hechos ú omisiones de las autoridades subalternas ó de los particulares, le darán derecho de repetir contra éstos, pero no contra el Tesoro.
