Una vez que ingrese un instrumento para su inscripción, el(los) titular(es) del respectivo derecho, de común acuerdo podrán solicitar por escrito el desistimiento del registro, el cual será concedido mediante acto administrativo de cúmplase, siempre y cuando el proceso de registro no haya superado la etapa de inscripción.
