Será castigado por reclusión de veinte días a cuarenta meses, y multa de diez a doscientos pesos, el funcionario público que, directamente o por interpuesta persona, o por medio de actos simulados, se procure un provecho personal en cualquier acto de la administración pública a que pertenece.
