Cuando un asegurado o sus beneficiarios, además de las prestaciones que esta ley concede, tengan derecho a indemnizaciones de responsabilidad civil por el mismo siniestro, el instituto se subrogara en los derechos de aquel o aquello hasta por el monto de las prestaciones que esta ley otorga.
