El Instituto Nacional de Radio y Televisión, Inravisión y las Organizaciones Regionales de Televisión, podrán utilizar redes y servicios de satélites para la emisión, transmisión y recepción de señales de televisión, con previa autorización del Ministerio de Comunicaciones, según la reglamentación que expida el Gobierno Nacional.
