Los Generales retirados tienen derecho a usar el uniforme en los días de fiesta nacional y en ceremonias oficiales y sociales solemnes. El Ministerio de Guerra puede conceder ocasionalmente el mismo derecho a otros Oficiales retirados, o grado inferior, siempre que su conducta pública y privada sea intachable a juicio del mismo Ministerio.
