Prima geográfica. El Registrador Nacional del Estado Civil, de acuerdo con la reglamentación establecida en el Decreto número 2372 del 25 de octubre de 1994, otorgará una Prima Geográfica, sin carácter salarial, a los funcionarios cuyos cargos estén ubicados en zonas de difícil acceso, clima malsano o alto riesgo por violencia, mientras subsistan tales factores.
