El territorio del Departamento Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina estará constituido por las Islas de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina, y Cayos Alburqueque, East Southeast, Roncador, Serrana Quitasueño; Bajo Nuevo, Bancos de Serranilla y Alicia y demás islas, islotes cayos, morros, bancos y arrecifes que configuran la antigua Intendencia Especial de San Andrés y Providencia.
