ARTICULO 79. Encargo. Los empleados públicos del Ministerio de Defensa y de la Policía Nacional podrán ser designados para asumir parcial o totalmente, como encargados, las funciones de empleos diferentes a aquéllos para los cuales han sido nombrados por ausencia temporal o definitiva del titular, sin que por ello el encargado adquiera el derecho al pago de la asignación que corresponda a dicho cargo.
