La presente ley establece que el valor de los auxilios o subsidios en dinero dirigidos y otorgados en beneficio del adulto mayor de que tratan los servicios sociales complementarios del Sistema de Seguridad Social o del Sistema de Protección Social en Colombia en vigencia de la presente ley o que llegaren a crearse podrán estar por encima del indicador de línea de pobreza que informe oficialmente el Departamento de Planeación Nacional o a la entidad que haga sus veces.
