Para efecto de lo dispuesto en el artículo 8º de la Ley 3º de 1991 se entiende como fuerza mayor, el imprevisto a que no es posible resistir. Las entidades otorgantes del subsidio familiar establecerán en cada caso la ocurrencia de las circunstancias constitutivas de la fuerza mayor y concederán, si fuere procedente, el permiso para transferir el dominio o para dejar de residir en la solución de vivienda.
