El Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transporte por intermedio de la Jefatura de Conservación de Carreteras o cualquiera otra dependencia de esa Entidad a que corresponda, dispondrá el mantenimiento de la misma por medio del Distrito de Carreteras número 14, con sede en Pasto y subsede en la ciudad de Ipiales.
