Para proveer y mantener la adecuada financiación de los subsidios y créditos que se otorguen a los estudiantes, el Gobierno Nacional asignará anualmente una partida del Presupuesto General de la Nación al Icetex, quien tendrá la función de distribuir y administrar dichos recursos.
