Los estudiantes que cursan el bachillerato de orientación comercial podrán obtener el título oficial del bachillerato general para efectos de continuar una carrera universitaria sometiéndose a los requisitos legales vigentes para el caso, previa la habilitación de los cursos de Latín, Literatura Colombiana e Historia de la Filosofía, cuando se trate de seguir estudios de Derecho o Filosofía y Letras y los dos últimos solamente para las demás profesiones liberales. Es entendido que tales habilitaciones se harán en las condiciones determinadas por la Ley 56 de 1927.
